Bleached InuYasha Galaxy

Hakuri nodded. She closed her eyes, turned her head upwards and slowly reopened them then sighed. After a few minutes she began to try moveing her foot but was still watching the clouds. She clapped her hand over her neck, where she had placed the 2 shards.

Anorant looked into the river again, then into the sky once more. He stayed like this for a while then grabbed the hilt of his sword. "I'm going to take care of some business after I see that you are fit to move around on your own. Hopefully, you won't take long, right? Besides... The blood from these bandits have probably attracted unwanted attention. It's best that we leave this area as soon as possible."
Anorant turned around and walked towards each corpse, using his Flame Strke to burn and dispose of them.

As Kagomaru walked through the forest he caught the scent of blood on the wind,and of charred flesh...It was a youkai's doing,and there was little doubt in Kagomaru's about it...The scent was unmistakable...Kagomaru started walking into the direction of the scent,ready for anything that he might find.

Hakuri cringed as the two shards in her neck cut themselves free and fell to the ground. She closed her eyes, put her hand under her foot and that shard fell gently to her hand. Before she could get the one from her leg, the shard on her hand burn and Hakuri intinctivly dropped the shard. Hakuri sighed and proceeded to remove the one from her leg without breaing the skin and hopefully before it broke out.

As Anorant set ablaze the final corpse, he began to feel uneasy knowing that someone or something could be attracted to the scent of the burning corpses. He wanted to avoid any unwanted attention as much as possible, and for a good reason. He quickly jumped into a nearby tree to survey the surrounding area, but didn't noticing anything in the air since the burning corpses were messing with his sense of smell. Anorant jumped down from the tree, and looked at Hakuri. "Having trouble...?"

Hakuri had just gotten the one from her leg out without causeing a scratch when the one on her upper foot ripped itself free. She cringes and nodded. She pointed to the three shards on the ground and droped the fourth on top. The shard from the top of her foot lay beside the foot, not in the pile. Hakuri's foot was still broken but no longer crushed.

As he moved closer and closer he saw 2 shapes and a pile of ashes that almost overwhelmed Kagomaru by the shear stench of death that they had about them.
He was alert,prepared for anything.
Getting closer he could make out the shape of a girl and a man...both quite young,but he know better then to let looks rule his perception...

Anorant looked at Hakuri, then tilted his head and sighed. "That's good enough. Let your foot heal on its own for now. I can at least carry you to a safer spot." Right after making his statement, Anorant's eyes widened and he looked around. He had smelled the scent of someone nearby. He immediately became tense 'cause of the fact that he didn't smell this person early. This was his fault due to the stench of the burning corpses messing with his sense of smell.

Anorant peered about the area, trying to get a visual of this person or thing. He pushed the hilt of his sword out a bit. "Hakuri.... We have to leave, now!" Anorant then spotted this person approaching them, not even sure if they have been noticed or not. He wanted to avoid another battle at all cost since Hakuri was injured.

Kagomaru had been spotted...He knew it since the scent he discerned earlier changed...it was now tense,rather agitated...
He shifted in and out of sight,phasing the branches of a nearby tree that allowed him to study the two shapes.His hand still gripped the hilt of his sword,ready for any attack,or in turn ready to attack at any time...

Kagomaru*thinking*:Who are these two...

Hakuri looked in the direction Anorant searched, she must have not seen what he did. She sighed, looked up at Anorant, and nodded. Shar hated this feeling of helplessness. Leaning against the tree she used her left foot to push her back agaist it, and slowly moved upwards. She used her hands first to get off the ground, and then the try to balance herself and to keep herself from falling. She paused, scooped up the four shards near herself, and tossed then to Anorant just before the burned her.
Hakuri stared at the ground, thinking, debating with herself. She sighed, took a deep breath and spoke, "An-Anorant?" she began, slowly, unsure if she should really say it.

Anorant caught the shards in his left hand and returned them to his neck, while continuing to stare in the direction the scent was coming from. He seemed to be completly focused on this person, waiting for something to happen. "What is it, Hakuri?"

Hakuri had started to hope he hadn't heard her, but when he replied she had no choice but to say it... she sighed, and inched closer to a stand and she tried to figure out how to say it but blunt was the only way. "Well... I... it..." She paused, thinging to herself... 'Comeon, decside on a first word... um... "It... it wasn't just... just..." I was hard if not impossibe to sugar coat it but blunt wasn't a peice of cake either, "I... I wasn't sad about the battle... it's..." she took a deep breathe, she had started, but could she finish? "It was you, you..." She was afraid to finish, afraid she would invoke it.

Kagomaru's eyes widened as his ears tried to perceive what the two spoke.Unfortunately the wind made it almost impossible to discern what they spoke.He gripped the hilt of his sword and jumped down without making a sound...He was in the thick smoke that still emanated from the smoldering corpses,and he was quietly walking towards the two,his katana in hand,sheathed but ready ti use in the blink of an eye.He grinned slightly in a very cruel and harsh manner as he walked through the thick smoke...
Kagomaru*whispers in a very cold manner*:"Kakugo kimero...*



Translation:
*Kakugo Kimero=translation(jap.)"prepare to die..."

Anorant almost completely lost the scent of the approaching figure as it entered the smoke. He grew even more tense. Anorant thought to himself "This isn't good....." He then glanced to his left at Hakuri from the corner of his eyes. "We can talk about that later, Hakuri. Right now, we really HAVE to leave..." Anorant took a tanto from his pack and tossed it on the floor next to Hakuri's foot. "I'm not sure if you noticed, but we are not alone at the moment, so use that to protect yourself.... Just in case."

Anorant returned his focus towards the smoke again, drew his sword and prepared his Dragon Blue Arm. :A thought: <I don't want to get Hakuri involved, especially since she is injured. I should distract this person and give her enough time to escape....>
