At long last! The Panther Region edits are now complete!

Panther Arena:

Objects:

- The remaining rewards of the Panther Arena have been introduced. Such as the Warlord's and Sorcerer's set.

NPCs:

- Added a second quartermaster for the Gold and Platinum rewards.
- Added an NPC that can repair items at low costs (equivalent to Mr. Fixit)
- The Fallen Savior Eradicator now proudly represents the Fallen Saviors.

Rooms:

- Added a few new rooms to fit the new NPC.

Panther Region:

Objects:

- Remastered a lot of items existing in the Panther Region (may experience item losses as a result.)
- Added over two dozen new items to acquire in the Panther Region.
- Shikon Shards will be taking the place of the old gems yielded by the panther leaders. (To follow lore.)
- Herbs will now spawn all across the Panther Region.

NPCs:

- Added fight-able NPCs from levels 45 to 80, including the remastered Oyakata-Sama and Panther Leaders.
- 4 more representatives (pacifists) of the Fallen Saviors have made their base of operations in a certain bar. Amongst one of them a figure some of you may all know... ;)
- Remastered all of the NPCs (fight-able) to match all the new changes.

Quests:

- Added 2 new repeatable quests. One for levels 60 to 70 and one for levels 60 to 80. (You can still earn Yen if you do not meet the right requirements for completing these quests.)

Rooms:

- Changed the layout and location of some key places/things within the Panther Region.

...

... and much, much more!

Sorry to have taken so long with these edits, folks. Unfortunately it takes time, but I promise not to disappoint. In any case, here you have it. Panther Region, remastered and complete. Enjoy!

P.S. Like always, I ask everyone to report any known or possible bugs/flaws that you may encounter. Once reported, I will work to fix them ASAP. Thank you.

Another major change that will impact how the arena works:

- The Arena will no longer force lethal. Instead, it will remain entirely a choice as always. The benefits of PvP in the arena will be a complete choice by both (or more) victims.

- Safe rooms will no longer exist, as they won't be needed. If you are lethal, be prepared to face the enemy everywhere.

- Prize/Reward rooms will no longer support just 1 player. Any amount of player(s) will be able to fit in these rooms. (I may consider changing how reward exchanges work to prevent theft. Then again, I think I might keep it that way.)

Stay tuned for more.

Another change to be implemented:

- The delays experienced entering and leaving the arena will be entirely removed.

- The arena will no longer be considered "a secretive place". With so much action, it is now a booming and thriving place well known to all.

- The arena will no longer be considered a "no quit" area. Furthermore, once implemented, the rule of no idling out (while in the arena) will be removed.

Keep the rooms with the merchants that sell the areana gear 1 player at a time, it is already perfect, as long as people don't idle out in them.

People abuse this by going into them to avoid major conflict. Which is why I am considering changing it. Furthermore, it is not fair to keep others waiting simply because one person is taking their sweet time. Or using it as an escape.

With the way PvP works in the arena changing entirely, I have decided to make a change that will intrigue some of our PKers.

- Death is now possible and no longer considered illegal in the Panther Arena.
- Being non-lethal is now possible while in the Panther Arena.
- NPCs will still not kill you while in the Panther Arena.

So if NPCs cannot kill you still, they will stun you still and just leave you in the saferoom. And if you're lethal and they are too, players can finish you off?

There will no longer be safe rooms, however, the statement as a whole is correct. You will be teleported out of the arena into the rooms below. In which you will finish off the remaining time as stunned. During this time, you are vulnerable to be finished off by other players. Thus why being lethal while in the arena will be so dangerous.

Something that will make a lot of you sad is the permanent removal of the rune system found in Panther Arena. Without sufficient code to back it up, this idea doesn't work as I envisioned at first, therefore it is going to be removed. Perhaps "permanent" is not a true statement, but it looks likely.

Nice, what do we need to do with our old areana gear?

A good question which indeed does need to be answered. A lot of the arena gear is being entirely removed from the game, which means that more than likely it will be lost forever. However, fear not! The changes being done to the arena promise reasonable changes done to it to compensate for your losses. For instance; tokens won't drop so rarely. And higher levels can now once again enjoy the arena at it's fullest.
