Nice, what do we need to do with our old areana gear?

A good question which indeed does need to be answered. A lot of the arena gear is being entirely removed from the game, which means that more than likely it will be lost forever. However, fear not! The changes being done to the arena promise reasonable changes done to it to compensate for your losses. For instance; tokens won't drop so rarely. And higher levels can now once again enjoy the arena at it's fullest.

will we get compensated for the loss of the original gear or will we still keep the origanal it just be ultra rare items sence there not in use anymore :P

Neither-- it doesn't seem you read what I said.

Thats not all that bad, I will miss my gear lol, but it will give me somthing to do again, while waiting on other changes for the future.

So are you replacing the Gladiator gear as well, or is that staying the same, or do you have some more badass ideas to improve it?

Gladiator gear will be changed, also. Possibly entirely, so loss of that as well is likely. However, there will be only 2 gladiator sets. One for healing and one for damage dealing, and like the rest of the equipment rewards in the arena, it will be based for PK.

Since the gear won't be filling up the gap of gear that it is filling up now, I will also make new item drops from NPCs in the Panther Region. Including a redesigned Imperial Armor set, and a healing and damage dealing set for world encounters.

A sneak peek at the last armor set for healers in the Panther Arena. This will be taking the place of Tempest Set (Divination, 70) and ultimately replacing it.

You are using:
<worn on body> a sorcerer's silk robe
<worn on head> a sorcerer's silk cowl
<worn on legs> a sorcerer's silk leggings
<worn on feet> a sorcerer's pair of silk boots
<worn about body> a sorcerer's long silk cloak
<worn around wrist> (Glowing) a pure silver bracelet
<worn around wrist> (Glowing) a pure silver bracelet
<wielded> (Humming) (Two-Hand) a sorcerer's battle staff

Also, a sneak peek at the new currency for the arena which will replace the old currency (Copper, Silver, Gold and Gladiator.)

a bronze arena token
a silver arena token
a gold arena token
a platinum arena token
(Glowing) (Humming) a blood arena token

The way purchasing items is still being worked on. There are some things I know will be definitely taking place once this change is applied:

1.) You will no longer be required to GIVE the tokens THEN say what item you want to get your reward(s), all that will be required is to say what is needed. This is to allow for multiple people in the reward room of the arena without the fear of being robbed by campers.

2.) Some items may require a combination of tokens to purchase. In example, the Sorcerer's Battle Staff may require 5 Platinum Arena Tokens and 1 Blood Arena Token.

3.) It will no longer be possible to break tokens down. On that same note, it will no longer be possible to purchase higher quality tokens with a certain amount of lesser quality tokens.

4.) Tokens will not be sold by shops by any means. If players want to make trades/sales, they must do so personally.

The Panther Region/Arena edits will be split into two. Since I have been working on the Arena first, once done with those, I will have the changes installed, then work on the remaining parts of the Panther Region. I know some of you have been anticipating some changes, so this is what I will do for now. :)

Otherwise, it would take weeks before I could finish any.

But with this course of action, the Panther Arena edits could take as little as a day or two from this post before they are installed.

Seeing as it has been longer than a day or two, do you have a new timeframe?

I am working on it as I speak. These things are easy to misjudge, plus I am ill. Given that I work on this until around mid-night, I might be able to have it installed by then.

Character name: Futch
Are any of these leaves (miracle leaf, invigorating leaf) part of the herb/potion system? The skill characters can learn in Sawakami?
