Like many other areas, the Foreboding Region of Kasai will undergo some change to fit all other changes ingame. The following are some of the most notable changes that will take place within this area.

General:

- The area will now respawn every 24 hours.
- The area will no longer force_lethal on any players.
- Layout will be changed slightly.
- New quests and NPCs will be introduced.
- Unique gather-able herbs native to Kasai only will spawn periodically (regardless of reset timers.)
- Storyline continues! (View below for more details.)
- An inbuilt 'mini-event' will periodically take place within the Foreboding Region of Kasai! See more information below!

Objects:

- All items will be updated with proper stats, level requirements and other effects.
- Many new items will be introduced, including 6 new armor sets and thirteen of the most epic weapons ever seen!

NPCs:

- New generic NPCs and 'rare spawn' NPCs will be introduced to the area.
- Droprates will be significantly altered to match the 24 hour respawn time. Ensuring that adventurers will always acquire rewards for their efforts in this foreboding region.
- Levels, Attributes and Stats for many NPCs will be altered to fit the new 'mob table' that has been applied to many other areas. (Area is still considered group-encouraged.)
- Generic (Trash) NPCs will still spawn throughout the area regardless of the reset timer. (Much like the NPCs in the Panther Arena.) This is to allow for gathering of rare resources only found in Kasai, as well as EXP.

Rooms:

- Layout will be slightly changed to accommodate some new changes.

Storyline:

With the forces of the Village of Kasai being cornered and facing certain doom, a group of heroes arrive in the nick of time to save them. Though the village was ultimately lost... The nearby castle has been taken as a stronghold for the combined forces of the Champions of Kasai and the Fallen Saviors! Now making their last stand against the threats of the region, they welcome any other heroes from across the land to help them end the menace of the Celestial demons that loom above, as well as the threats that lurk nearby.

Celestial Invasion (Event):

For those who remember the event "Celestial Invasion", it will be making a return exclusively for the Foreboding Region of Kasai! This event will take place randomly all across the Foreboding Region of Kasai regardless of resets. Unlike before, runes will not be present, as well as the consumable celestial essences... However, the celestial demon NPCs will yield a higher chance at rare resources and materials that will be needed to create rare and powerful items! On top of that, the Celestial Demon NPCs will be the only NPCs estimated to being able to take you to level 100 solely through fighting. The event will periodically spawn and despawn. If the leader of the demons is defeated, they will retreat and stop spawning all across the area for a set period of time before reappearing again. Those who manage to defeat the leader before the demons leave victorious will acquire a great deal of rare items as well as an experience reward.

Probable (50/50), but I will attempt to preserve the current items there as much as possible. Since many items have to undergo changes in values (such as stats provided by said items), these changes sometimes do not apply, and basically make the items useless. Which is why in most cases items are lost.

Three armor sets are being made (80), one for each role correspondingly. The Black Scaled Armor (damage), the Celestial Cloth Armor (healing) and the Kasairite Armor (tanking). For those wondering. Yes. There will be equipment loss with this change. However, items have been refined and are now far better than they were before. Unlike before, these armor sets will be crafted with the aid of NPCs. (Also for those wondering: Yes, bosses will still yield items upon victory over them. Just not the sets that will be crafted.) In advanced, you will NOT find level 100 gear in Kasai. The highest expected gear level you will find here is 90. Three additional sets will be made which will be presented much later which will be "the highest" tier of armor (90). These will be made available with the second half of the Kasai changes.

Also as a heads up. Thirteen new weapons are being worked on for the Foreboding Region of Kasai. These weapons are about as rare as Cruelfang is. Only difference is, it may take longer to acquire any one of these weapons due to the fact that they are "crafted" and you must go through great lengths to acquire the materials needed to make these epic weapons. They will have amazing stats and highly beneficial effects (like poison), along with some of the highest damage count ever seen in BIYG. Like stated, they'll be hard to get, but well worth the effort.

I will share more information on Kasai and the upcoming changes in the near future. So stay tuned!

As a tribute to my mother, I will be making an NPC modeled after her which will be introduced in the Foreboding Region of Kasai changes. This NPC in particular will serve as a quest giver, but will also elaborate on Alexander Leon's history and will also be heavily involved in a future end-game area that is anticipated to be made for level 90-100 players. This, however, is still ways away. But the tribute will be had.

Because if it wasn't for her... You wouldn't be getting the contents you enjoy oh-so much. :)
