Bleached InuYasha Galaxy

We are going to become a Bleach-InuYasha hybrid MUD. This took a long time to think about, and you can find discussion about it here. From the official announcement on the MUD:


The MUD will always be an InuYasha MUD first. There are many things I need to code in before I start doing a lot of Bleach content. A lot of the things needed to be coded will benefit the Bleach theme though, such as the body part system. I'll be coding in the first Bleach content within a month, most likely. We will also be changing our MUD name slightly, look foward to it.

A few things that need to be said:
-There will not be a pwipe for this.
-InuYasha content will not be stopped.

The new MUD name has been revealed: Bleached InuYasha Galaxy.

The server upgrade has been done. The MUD you all play on should be more stable now, as of we now have another MUD to test/dev on. The domains will be done very soon.
[EDIT] Domains are done. Make sure you use http://www.biyg.org for the site URL from now on, and biyg.org to connect to the MUD.

Here's some things to expect from the Bleach theme:
-Kidou (Demon Arts)
-Shinigami (Death Gods)
-Custom ZanpakutÅ

I for one am looking forward to the bleach additions

I have just recently returned, for work had prevented much play time, but I am definately looking forward to bleach being added. Though i do have a few questions.
-Will the Quincy also be added, or just shinigami?
-Shikai and bankai were not alwayse a transformation, some like Byukuya and Gin had attack versions, will this be an option for us?
-Will it be possiblie to change from Youkai to Shinigami (for personal shard saving purposes)
-I saw teleport mentioned, and as a fan of the anime, I thought first of flash step, but will flashstep also be a battle capability? Because few in the anime used it for transportation purposes, it was generally a means to attack.

Quincy will be added.

Shikai/Bankai can be made into a move to do damage, as well as a transformation, and more.

Youkai will not be able to become a Shinigami, I think (at this point).

Flash step will be in, but we're not sure how it'll be used. It will at least have battle capability.

Thanks for repling so hastily, and your answers were what I was hoping for, aside from Sepheroth never being able to be a shinigami, but oh well.
I have a few more questions/suggestions if you have the time.
-Will there be restrictions on shinigami in areas other then soul society? In the anime a shinigami or a quincy is far weaker in the living realm, thus the reason im asking.
-Will a shinigami's soul slayer be forced to bare the element of the shinigami?
-Will a clone/decoy be an option for a Shikai/Bankai? I ask only because this was Aizen's ability, and it would be great.
-Will soul slayers be lootable? If they are will their be a summon or take command to retrieve them?
-Will there be stat limits so a hollowed shinigami can become possible?
-And lastly will the 13 squads be created, with higher ranks such as captain and vice-captain recieving bonuses?

Shinigami are forced to lower their power under the rules of Soul Society, I think. If you're not a member of SS then you don't have to lower your power. We're not sure how we'll be doing this though.

A Soul Slayer will not have to have an element.

Hypnosis will probably be an option for a Soul Slayer.

Soul Slayers will probably be lootable, but if they will be it'll be easy to get them back (summon command like you said, as an example).

There is already a stat limit. We're not sure what we're going to do about that. A Hollow Shinigami may just give more power in the MUD.

We're not sure about 13 Squads. It may be all NPCs.

Only Vice-Captains and above among the seated officers are forced to lower their reiatsu to come to the real world. That means you can be whatever power, but only those ranks are limited.

The first Bleach specific content was installed this weekend; kidou. See changes on the MUD for details.

For anyone wondering about more content, it'll be in, don't worry. Planning takes a while, and we also need certain areas. So if you'd like to see things like Shinigami in faster, more builders would help.

What about the bounto, or the Death God/ Hollow's?

Bount will be in. Do you mean the Shinigami as a Hollow like Ichigo had? Yes those will be in too.
