Hi all,
We`ve been through a lot over the years. Ever since we opened up in 2004 there
have been so many changes, additions, players and areas. Originally based on
InuYasha, we later added Bleach into the mix. And this passing Monday, InuYasha
ended for good. It`s sad to see it go, but it`s been a good run.
There`s something I`ve been discussing with someone else over the last months and
just recently we finally decided to go through with it.
I would like to announce that Bleached InuYasha Galaxy will be merging with
NarutoMUD. The owner Gatz and I have talked about this for a while, and you all
know we have been sort of partners with the MUD as you can see the MUD is mentioned
in our MOTD.
I have also been a fan of Naruto and felt it would fit in with our themes, plus
a ninja class was planned at some point.
I understand there will be a lot of questions. To start off, the merge should go
smoothly because we both are based on Smaug. NarutoMUD will merge into BIYG and
we will serve as the "base" MUD. We`ve been working on this in the last few months
and starting this Tues (the 5th) both us and NarutoMUD will be temporarily shut
down to install these changes. On May 5th, we will re-open as
Bleached Naruto-Inuyasha Galaxy!
This won`t be our official name, we will be holding a contest for that and you
could win some neat prizes! But there`s a lot to talk about and I will detail all
of this later on before the 5th.
