i downloaded the smaug thing and i cant get it to regester me as a im what do i do

What Smaug thing?

I was debating about whether or not to open a can of worms by asking that.

I'm guessing that Yuske here means that they've downloaded Smaug 1.4a or SmaugFUSS 1.7 and didn't read the docs that come with it in the /dist/docs folder so they don't know how to make their initial character an immortal.

Though why Yuske would be asking here, I'm really not sure given how many other more appropriate places there are to ask, and how many other places that this particular question (and many others like it) are already answered... For example, Yuske could've done a search for the answer to this in the docs folder I mentioned above, or at orKevin London's SMAUG Page or at the Smaug Mailing List Archives or at Nick Gammon's Forums or perhaps even at the SmaugFUSS Forums ...but, then, what do I know, eh?

never mind a imm on iyg helped me he told me to go into the player directory and put my self to lvl 65 and the 1 i was talking about was the one in the fourm you posted.

Ah, so my guess was right.. Yuske, you might want to take a look at the sites I listed, most of them will be very useful to you if you want to try out Smaug for yourself, which is no small undertaking... Good luck!.
