Since many people ask about the various features for Bleach, I might as well start a FAQ to answer a lot of those questions. These are all questions I have been asked multiple times.

Q: What is in already?
A: There is plenty in already to keep everyone busy. The kidou system is in, and so are some kidou spells. Shunpo (flash step) is in. Reiatsu (spiritual pressure) is in, emit is in (used to emit reiatsu), repress is in. These are all available to players to use.

Q: Will Shinigami (Death Gods/Soul Reapers) be in?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Quincy be in?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Hollows be in? Can players become one?
A: Yes and yes.

Q: Will spiritual humans with powers (such as Chad, Orihime) be in?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Arrancar be in?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Vizard be in?
A: Yes.

Q: Will Bount be in?
A: Yes, although it's not a high priority.

Q: Will zanpakutou/shikai/bankai be in? How will they work?
A: Yes. Players will be able to fully customize them, much like setform (but more complicated).

Q: Will Soul Society be in?
A: Yes.

Q: What kidou spells will be in?
A: All of them. Also, we will create our own unique spells to fill in the gaps (Bleach does not mention every single spell from 1-99).

Q: What races will be able to use Bleach features?
A: All races. Youkai, Hanyou and Human will be able to become Shinigami/etc.

Q: When will all of this stuff be in?
A: We have to first put in the basics (reiatsu, spirits, etc). Quincy will be in first, because they require no new area (there were many Quincy in the feudal era). Next will probably be Hollows, followed by Shinigami. It is unknown when exactly they will be put in, due to lack of builders.

Q: But why add Bleach to this MUD?
A: As mentioned in the 2 announcements, Bleach goes very well with InuYasha. Examples include spirits being a large part of both series, weapons and weapon attacks are very important (weapons are almost like their own character), both Hollows and Youkai devour helpless beings, both anime take place in the same timeframe (Modern era) as well as the same place (Japan), and both dubs being aired on Adult Swim.

Are you going to have to die first to become a Shinigami? Or are you going to get to be like Ichigo and still be alive?

There will be multiple ways to become a Shinigami. Mainly, you have to get to Soul Society for the Shinigami school. How you get there is up to you (death is one way).

With spiritual awareness, will we be able to:

- Feel a players reiatsu if they are nearby
- Identify a player by their reiatsu
- Determine the distance and direction of that player by their reiatsu
- Be overcome by their immense reiatsu

I believe those are the main questions I have concerning reiatsu and it's uses in the near future..

Yep. Sensing spirit ribbons will do this.

This was actually already in, but I disabled it until it can not be abused.

To be more specific, can we identify THE player due to their reiatsu...um, the only way I could think to be more specific would be Alexander has a blue feeling reiatsu, so if I feel blue, I know it's alexander. But Hakuri is very red, so if I feel red, I know it to be Hakuri...does that help?

Not really. If a player is in a room and you sense them, don't you already know the player's name since you targeted them to sense?

I was hoping to be able to identify a player over distances of a few rooms, maybe 10 in any direction,, maybe within the area, especially if they have emitted, or released a high amount of Reiatsu. Their could even be some sort of config option to determine whether a player wants that sort of radar/spam to be displayed to them. This way I could feel the hunter(s) upon me before they ever actually come within my line of sight, or even better, my room.

Oh, so you're asking if you can know where a player and who the player is if they are near you.

The problem is that you can be in an area, and they could be in the room next to you but you are in two different areas and can't sence eachother.

Ah okay. Storing a list of player names you have remembered could be too much data to store on each pfile. I'll have to check i out.

Okay, I think I can do this for players. What about mobs? Do you care much about that?

That's actually a thought that never occured to me. I keep forgetting that in time, we will have mobs that in fact have and use Reiatsu...how about leaving this option for another time, farther along down the road.

Yeah, sounds good. Once I put in this for players, I'll see how much disk space it takes. If it's not a lot, I can also allow mobs to be remembered.

i think instead of being able to sense specific players, it should be like it was when ishida showed ichigo how he knew he was a shinigami, as in people with low spiritual power and no special abilities (such as just normal people) would have a specific color ribbon, shinigami would have red since it was shown as such, hollow could have green or some other color, other quincy have a specific color so on and so forth. since as it was shown ishida couldnt really tell whose it was besides the fact ichigo was the only red ribbon he sensed. and others could only tell other reiatsu apart by how large it is usually.

lol yes that's how sense will work. Seeing spirit ribbons. I'm actually close to finishing the skill.
