The slug demon in the combatant quest won't take his damn stuff.
"I have them", "I have the items", "I have the arm/leg/etc" and so forth don't work. I'm sure I'll feel like a jackass when I finally do figure it out, but right whatever the words are seem very anti-intuitive. Back to harvesting limbs...

Ok, I'll explain one thing about it because I found it annoying

If you are missing one of the items he normaly tells you, you dont have all the items.
If you take a piece of chopped wood and all the other items he wont say or do anything.
He should at least tell you, you dont have all the items since chopped wood doesnt
work anyways.
Just a thought though but up to Zeno on it.

I think that particular mob also requires the request list to be in your inventory, which is quite frustrating as it wastes inventory space. He doesn't respond if I have all the requested items, but have discarded the list.

Don't mobs give you a new list if you even put it in a pack?

Unfortunately, no. The bonding alloy mob will also just take your money if you don't have a list on you. This makes it somewhat difficult to get a replacement (or a second) crystal katana.

Nope. The list doesn't matter.

Kitsune was doing the entire Combatant quest over again. You don't do that quest again when you are already a Combatant.
