No problem

lightning strong water weak earth

water strong earth weak lightning

earth strong lightning weak water

wind strong fire weak ice

fire strong ice weak wind

ice strong wind weak fire

As show every element is equalized to one strength and one weakness.
If you want I could add a few more elements like holy dark and hmm shikigami could be one it is a place of derived power. unless you will be implementing shikigami for humans.

That still seems to be the double disadvantage.

Lightning is strong against water, and water is weak against lightning. That's what I was talking about.

well yea. water is weak against lightning. its not double stacked your just reading wrong i think.

here ill try to explain it more laimens

earth make lightning no bueno

lightning make water ouchie

water make earth melty

wind make fire go out

fire make ice melt

ice make wind cold

i think thats all.

but if that chain still doesnt make sense i can move water and earth some.

No Takashe let me spell it out for you. The element system works two fold. The attacker attacking and the victim defending aka things are checked for TWO instances and ITS BETTER THAT WAY. The way it SHOULD be set up is something more along the lines of this:

Lighting is strong against Water.
Lighting is weak against Earth.
Water is weak against Wind.

I was thinking that maybe players could create thair own personalised weapons...weapons that would gain power at the same pace the player did...Power tied to stats or level.They would have a number of skills avalable which the palyer could select when forging the weapon in question,(the same for all weapons,but maybe we could use the element each palyer has for some variety.),skills that would be albe to get personalised (just like the transform and revert descriptions).

For instance,earth could have:Earthquake,Shockwave,etc
Lightning:Shock,Spark,Thunderstorm,etc.
And so on...and all the skills the weapon could gain would be tide to the level of the character...Maybe eaven add some ultimate skills or something...

The weapons could be gained after you do a quest or something...maybe we could have Totosai's workshop or somethin...That way the shards atached to weapons could do alot more then just keep people non-lethal...

I know you guys are busy with all the Bleach stuff but it's just a thought that crossed my mind...If anyone already posted or sugested something simmilar and i missed it,sorry for the useless post.Pace!

I see something a little diffrent in the elements...

In most cases, put water and electricity together, and you kill somebody...
So water should be weak against lightning or vice versa depending on who attacked.
Such as, if a water attacked a lightning, and the lightning is fighting not to get killed, then the lightning would be stronger against water. Same for fire and ice.

But let's see...

Lightning is weak/strong against water (depending... as stated above)
Water is weak/strong against lightning (depending... as stated above)
Fire is weak against water
Earth is weak against wind
Fire is weak/strong against ice (depending... as stated above)
Ice is weak/strong against fire (depending...as stated above)
Fire is strong against wind (More oxygen helps fire burn)
Wind is unaffective toward fire
Water is strong against fire

ect, ect...

You all haven't even come to understand nor try to figure out how elements are currently setup to work dispite all the basic information Zeno and I have given you in these threads. Yet you keep posting ideas on how you think it should work giving us a format that doesn't work at all and gives bad boosts to different elements and deals out more damage than we even want it to. So stop posting these until you take the time to actually understand the current system and how we want things to work. As it is right now works as best as it is going to until we go in and add more depth to the system.
