It doesn't really make sense for jogging to be slower than walking.
Also, it's just a lot of uneventful waiting/lag. Especially in the mountains.

It bores players.

That's the point; jogging is meant for training. If you want to move faster, try shunpo or lowering your equip load.

Any training aspects are meant to be slow (pushups, etc). If jogging was as fast or faster than walking, there'd be no point in walking as jogging would also be giving you stats.

Looking at it realistically, Jogging is actually FASTER (in real life) than 'walking'.
Jogging should take much more stamina than walking. (Maybe more than it does now.) Also, you should take a look at the delay for jogging in the mountain type room.
I realize the point the jogging. However, I feel it's negatives outweigh it's positives. That might be partially because jogging past 100 to 200 agility
is immensely slow. Pushups also seem to be virtually ineffective past 100 vigor. (I mean, once you reach these levels of stats, the pay off is incredibly low; you're better off just not jogging and doing pushups as it'll save you time to just concentrate on a stat and fight mobs and that will give a much faster return on stats.)

My main concern is with lag. There's not much to do when you're lagging. I'm not sure it's 'healthy' for the playerbase.
Granted, it's not as bad as reiatsu training is currently, but I'm sure it's pretty frustrating and depressing when your current vigor/agility is past 100 or 200.

Jogging can be very tedious, but mechanically something has to act as a drawback to the possibility of acquiring a permanent stat point to Agility. I'm sure you've noticed, but the lag is also attributed to the room's type. Try to experiment and discover which room type is the best for training your agility via jog!
