I'm sure this has been addressed before, but asking kamosai to become a combatant is working just fine. The problem is once you collect the items, there's no direction given to you by the instructor with how to proceed. If you're supposed to give him the items then he should inform you to do so, but if there's a particular syntax to inform him you have what he needs, it isn't given in his speech prog. |

Another note regarding the quest, when you walk into the hermits home you can look at the description and the instructions aren't accurate considering how picky the npc is with the syntax. |
