perhaps if they death system is changed you can have it so that the player is a soul for a time followed by a soul piper and after a while the soul pipers eyes open and then you are resurrected. as another thing if there is a kikyo type character was added, if the soul should run into this character they are instantly resurrected losing all exp they gained that lvl should either of these event occur.

I think its a good idea but when you die does it say that then you go to the Haira village OR do you have to follow this piper around for what seems forever?

One thing I know is being planned for the the future is a limb system, as well as a death <afterlife> system. Well, while living with the upcoming limb system, we are bound to break or lose limbs. And of course, the only way that we could recover limbs is if we are Hanyou or Youkai <mostly youkai though>. But I was thinking, that considering the fact that we will lose limbs, and traveling will become incredibly difficult and the such... Why not, whe we die <and we get that new afterlife in> we could get a new body, one without missing limbs. This will be one of the costly, yet few memotheds of gaining a full body back. Down sides would be loss of memory, which would reduce the % of certain skills for us to regain again. Loss of experience of course, and other things which I don't know or haven't planned out yet. While in the afterlife, we could be capable of over-staying there to get other things done, one of them would be to recover or get our new body. Perhaps this has already been thought of, but just in case, I threw it in here for all to see.

Xero's idea about souls and the soul piper are entirely InuYasha based, Rowe. There ARE wandering souls in InuYasha. And there ARE Soul Pipers. If anything, blame WoW. The idea has always been there, just simply not brought up. Kudos on it, Xero. However, a death system related to WoW's wouldn't be so bad either. "Go back to your old dead body (which might be shattered and dismembered, or work your way for a new one, however that may be done...)" Of course, I am not implying anything of the sort, for there was never such a thing as Body renewal or replacements in InuYasha that I recall. But it is simply something good to get ideas from.

Well if you couldn't guess the death system will also be edited in a way to work Bleach into its theme. Suprisingly the Bleach and InuYasha death system match up pretty well. No I'm not going to go into any details on how I want this system to work but lets just say I wrote up how it can work a while ago and its quite interesting and complex.
