I didn't see any past thread mentioning this but a bunch of my items disapeared (I belive) at once, however I died a few times then. I do know I had died with all these items before. I'm not sure if this is a bug, intentional or thieving bandits but I figured it should be mentioned.

It's a new flag.It's supposed to happen upon death.The items thus flagged will disapear should you die.

will this flag be removed at a later date?

Doubtful,as i understood it it this was something players exploited as many items never broke even if poisoned.Consider it a bug fix.

The flag will never be removed from game, as it is required for shops.

But it was unpoisoned items, and stuff like gleaming shield, 2 gourds(One with more than 1/2 broken), and other stuff.

It isn't with poisoned items. It's with a certain obj flag, as I said.

i didnt mean the flag per say, but the effect of it.

I will not change the code of the flag, since it is a stock flag and is part of stock.

Were the things I mentions items with the vanish flag?

Gourds? Out of all the missing items the gourdes seem the weirdest. They are a newbish item and my two disappeared at different deaths. I just find it hard to believe, that's all.
