If you found a typo or noticed that something does not look right (not aligning, matching up, colors wrong, etc) then post it here, not on the gboards. We are not very concerned with these types of things during alpha.

Heyas, I don't know if this is a typo, but it just don't sound right. When I study, is says something like- Sato opens up a The Art of War, and slow begins to read it. Shouldn't it be slowly instead of slow? I know it's not important, but it just annoys me.

Not really aligned.

What isn't? Each has a different length of characters. It shouldn't be aligned.

Author:  Kenjii [ March 25th, 2005, 1:36 pm ]
Post subject:

I really think it should be aligned so I can easily compare it with my other equipment.

You stare into their body...

Shouldn't it be "You stare into his/her body..."?

The eq thing, it's not really possible. First of all, each item has different amount of characters, and each item has a different AC, so the AC bar isn't always the same. Sure I could fix up eq slots, but that would look ugly.
Code:
<worn on head      >

I suppose. Their works too.

Not gonna reply to every post. If I don't, that means it'll be fixed sometime.

room name typo:
"A small patch of tree's" (should be "trees")

object name typo:
"A pair of evisu-brand kakis lie on the ground." (should be "khakis")

room description typo (Before a cave dwelling):
"The cave to the north is one of adverage size..." (should be "average")

(Wait, how big is an average-sized cave? That makes no sense!)

room description typo:
"A large isle through the mall" (should be "aisle") (better yet, make it wide instead of large)

object description typo:
"A joing of cocaine lies here." (should be "joint")

object description typo:
Elevator: "A pannel is embeded in the wall with many buttons upon it" (should be "...panel is embedded...")

Juuban Gardens Elevator: must type "push nineth" to get to the ninth floor. (should be "push ninth")

Since elevator buttons IRL are labeled '1', '2', etc., perhaps the command should be "push 1", "push 2", etc.

"The fire starts, and you stand back up, fininshed making the fire." (should be "finished")

event typo:
"You drink cola from a mug of hot cocoa." (cola != cocoa)

object name typo:
"an Aquarias pendant" (should be "Aquarius")
(may just be a typo in the 'list' command in Pendants R' Us)

object name superfluous words:
"A citizen walks strolls along the sidewalk." (walks strolls?)

"The jack pot for this arena is * Yen" (should be "jackpot")

'A spa therapist says 'There that should take care your'" (incomplete thought)

"* opens up a copy of InuYasha Volume 1 and slow flip through it." (should be "...slowly flips...")

At the bottom of the output of the "gboard" command is the message:
"You current board is *." (should be "Your")

The header in the 'group' command has alignment problems.

The columns of the 'practice' command do not wrap nicely at 80 columns. Yes, players can adjust their clients to compensate, but then room descriptions will get harder to read. I think everything should at least look good in the default 80 column width. AFAIK this is the only command that doesn't.

Object name typo:
"A large pear shaped piece of clay lies here." (missing a hyphen between "pear" and "shaped")

There is an incomplete sentence in the output of the "cscore" command:

"You need * CP to the next class level."

I think this should be:

"You need * CP to advance to the next class level."

"Roleplay: Arena: * challenges * to a dual against *" (should be "duel")

Author:  Ryo [ April 1st, 2005, 9:31 pm ]
Post subject:

That last one was a Roleplay. That means a player typed in as RP, aka it wasn't a real arena challenge

I found a few more typos...I would post more, but I'm getting tired.
